Mumbai-based Riya Graphics, relatively a new digital printing shop, has installed a brand new Ricoh Pro C7500 at its production setup in Kandivali East. The new Ricoh digital color production press has been supplied to Riya Graphics by Monotech Systems.

Riya Graphics is our newly established digital printing vertical producing premium quality commercial graphics and associated finished products. We have a parent company, but Riya Graphics is an independent unit,” says Vinay Devda, proprietor of Riya Graphics. He says they have just begun the business with a small team and a large Ricoh digital color production press from Monotech Systems, along with a line of other equipment.

From small prints to large-format graphics, Riya Graphics meets the requirements of customers from all walks of life. Its current portfolio consists of cards, catalogs, fliers, inserts, brochures, and stationery items. “The installation of the Ricoh Pro C7500 in our production setup has enabled us to produce applications in crisp textures and vivid colors,” Devda says.

The Ricoh Pro C7500 features upgraded capabilities, including enhanced speed and media versatility, according to Devda. “We feel fully confident of delivering whatever our customers want today because we have the Ricoh Pro C7500. This digital color production press is perfect for producing large graphics such as posters quickly,” he adds.

The press is engineered to operate at an upgradable speed of 95ppm. It flexibly runs on a wide range of thin and thick media, starting from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm. According to Devda, its media versatility has opened up a new opportunity for them to work on heavyweight media for new applications. Print graphics produced on the Ricoh Pro C7500 are in 2400 x 4800 dpi, which is said to be the industry’s leading resolution.

It is also bundled with EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers that significantly improve print quality and efficiency. The Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers facilitates precise job management and color control.

We are satisfied with the Ricoh Pro C7500 for its overall performance and productivity. As of now, we are in the early phase of the digital printing business. We plan to break new ground for innovative and premium finished products using the new Ricoh press.”
