Jodhpur-based Singhvi Prints, a commercial printer, has enhanced its production capabilities and expanded its service offerings with the integration of Bindwel’s Blue Plus perfect binding machine.

Founder Aditya Singhvi reports a transformation in efficiency, quality, and control, particularly for its diverse range of printing and binding projects, which include coaching books, magazines, customized albums, brochures, catalogs, visiting cards, pamphlets, and labels.

Before acquiring the Bindwel Blue Plus, Singhvi Prints faced challenges, including the need to outsource bookbinding jobs, leading to increased costs and longer turnaround times, especially for smaller quantities. Confidentiality and complete control over their book projects were concerns as well.

“The challenge was completing book jobs on time as they were outsourced, and it was costly if the number of books was less. The challenge was also of confidentiality and complete control of book jobs,” Sanghvi said.

According to him, the decision to choose Bindwel was driven by the machine’s quality, its status as an India-made product, and the assurance of local service availability. Since its installation, the Blue Plus has empowered Singhvi Prints with better control, enabling it to complete customized jobs promptly and achieve faster deliveries. The quality of binding has improved, with minimal wastage, largely attributed to the valuable spine preparation feature of the Bindwel machine.

Singhvi Prints, operating from a 3,200 square feet facility with a single shift and 10 staff members, specializes in paper printing-related products with customization as its selling proposition. Its key equipment includes an AccurioPress C12000 in color, an 1100 Pro, and an AccurioPress 6120 in monochrome, combined with a sheet label cutter, center pinning machine, and a guillotine cutter. The Bindwel Blue Plus enhanced Singhvi Prints’ ability to serve local coaching centers, Amazon product packaging, and the wider Jodhpur market.

A recent success story highlights the Bindwel machine’s impact — the production of Glimpses of Anaesthesia History, a magazine. Despite the challenge of binding laminated art card pages, the Blue Plus completed all 10 copies within a single day.

Singhvi rates Bindwel’s technical support as excellent and recommends the company to other businesses due to the machine’s quality, Indian manufacturing, and reliable service support. He praises the machine’s robustness, noting its minimal breakdown rate, which ensures excellent production uptime. “Blue Plus from Bindwel has empowered me to deliver my book jobs with quality on time,” he concludes.
