HP India, in collaboration with Redington, has opened a dedicated Demo Center in Mumbai to offer customers and partners a hands-on experience with its latest Latex printing technologies and products. The center features live demonstrations that highlight the versatility of these solutions across a wide range of substrates and applications.

HP India recently announced the launch of its latest large-format printing solutions, the HP Latex 730 and 830 printer series. Engineered for small and medium-sized print service providers (PSPs), these new printers are designed to boost productivity, streamline operations, and consistently deliver high-quality, high-value output, a press release said.

With sustainability at the core of their design, the HP Latex 730 and 830 series address the evolving demands of PSPs in India, empowering them to grow their business while reducing environmental impact.

To enhance the launch experience, HP India, in collaboration with Redington, has opened a dedicated Demo Center in Mumbai to offer customers and partners a hands-on experience with its latest Latex printing technologies and products. The center features live demonstrations that highlight the versatility of these solutions across a wide range of substrates and applications. Open to print service providers (PSPs), media vendors, creative agencies, and partners, the Demo Center is designed as a center of innovation and excellence where visitors can explore and test advanced printing solutions. It also serves as a hub for training and experimentation, empowering PSPs with the latest possibilities.

Vitesh Sharma, country head – India, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka for Large Format Printing Business, HP said, “The Indian print industry is undergoing a major transformation. Today’s PSPs are expected to do it all by delivering faster turnarounds, maintaining top-tier quality, and exploring new industries. At HP, we recognize these growing demands, and we’re committed to helping our customers rise to the challenge. Our new HP Latex 730 and 830 printer series are built to support this shift. With advanced automation, support for a wide range of materials, and our trusted water-based ink technology, these printers are designed to simplify operations and help businesses scale efficiently. To bring this experience closer to our PSPs, we’ve also launched a dedicated Demo Center in Mumbai, where they can get hands-on with the Latex 730 and explore its capabilities in real-time. It’s all part of our ongoing effort to drive innovation, support growth, and help them stay ahead of the curve.”

Raghu Ram, Senior VP, Endpoint Solutions Group, Redington, said, “At Redington, we are committed to empowering businesses with cutting-edge technology, and this collaboration is a step forward in enabling print service providers with sustainable, high-performance solutions. The new Demo Center in Mumbai is a testament to our shared vision of customer-centric innovation and capability building.”

With the new color pipeline, HP Pixel Control, the latest generation of inks, and printhead architecture, these printers deliver print quality with consistency. This technology enables smoother transitions and color reproduction even at lower pass modes. The printers feature an HP embedded spectrophotometer for creating precise color profiles, allowing reliable reproduction across a wide range of media. These printers offer vivid colors with HP Latex Ink and sharp 4-point text using user-replaceable HP Latex Printheads. PSPs can efficiently print diverse applications including branded campaigns, décor, and titled graphics, now enhanced with automated double-sided printing.

Productivity and time-saving innovations have been considered at every step of the printing process, from spindle-less front-loading to facilitating quick media loading, to the new output platen which minimizes material waste by allowing tighter media control of each print job. PSPs can also optimize inventory management with the new universal printheads and a new long-life maintenance cartridge with an extended lifespan by at least 50% 2 . The HP Latex 830 is enhanced to further reduce running costs, featuring 3-liter HP ink cartridges that can be replaced without halting operations.

The printers integrate a new look of HP PrintOS Production Hub 3, featuring a job-centric focus that makes the platform easier to navigate, more intuitive and offers an improved view of solutions, the press release said. This provides users with complete control over print production – from order intake to final delivery. Users can monitor print operations in real-time, manage printer queues remotely, and receive alerts and information. 4 With a centralized dashboard, jobs can be efficiently tracked from order creation 5 to delivery, helping to keep workflows organized and accelerate production speed.

HP continues to lead on sustainability with the Latex 730 and 830 Series, both of which are EPEAT Climate+ certified 6 —a first in the signage print industry. These printers use water-based HP Latex Inks that are UL ECOLOGO-certified 7 and odorless, supporting safer working environments and greener print applications. Used supplies, including maintenance cartridges, can be returned via the HP Planet Partners 8 program, supporting a more circular economy.
