With its new ink options and advanced features such as a smart monitoring gate, the SC285 S delivers rich, precise, and consistent color outputs while maintaining sophisticated color management. The Apeos C2450S has user-friendly features and security measures, ensuring smooth and secure operations for businesses of all sizes.

The Chennai show held from 22 to 24 August served as a platform for Fujifilm India to connect with industry professionals and showcase new products. The company says the SC285 S is a high-performance product that offers expanded color capabilities, with 5 stations and options of additional colors over CMYK, making it an excellent choice for new entrants seeking vibrant and accurate color reproduction. It is suited for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) and small office/home office (SOHO) environments.

Koji Wada, managing director, Fujifilm India, said, “We have created value from innovation by bringing diverse ideas and capabilities together. It features single-pass duplex scanning at 50 ppm for color and 60 ppm for monochrome, with a Duplex Automatic Document Feeder (DADF) that handles up to 110 sheets.

It supports various scanning options, including scan-to-network, eMail, and USB memory. The 7-inch color touchscreen has features such as ID card copying and scanning, adding convenience. Seamless mobile connectivity along with enhanced security features including user authentication, and private charge print using IC cards to safeguard confidential information.

The SC285 S is a clean sheet technology equipped with 5 stations and multiple color options to choose from. It has advanced color support including clear, pink, soon white, silver, and gold inks, expanding its color gamut. It includes an optional smart monitoring gate for efficient operation on color management and is supported by the Revoria Flow print server. The Super EA Eco Toner ensures high-quality, eco-friendly prints.

The electronic materials business will be a new addition to Fujifilm India’s portfolio. Tetsuya Iwasaki, director, corporate vice president, and general manager of electronic materials business division, Fujifilm said, “Fujifilm will accelerate the development and provision of semiconductor materials that meet customer needs and contribute to the development of the semiconductor industry in India by further strengthening its business base in the Indian market. As a brand, we want to tell the market, and allied industries related to semiconductors that we are ready to empower the industry.”

Fujifilm India will participate in Semicon India 2024, an international exhibition of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and materials, in New Delhi, from 11 to 13 September 2024. According to the company, the semiconductor market in India is expected to grow to 64 billion dollars by 2026, about three times the size of 2019, due to the government’s focus on fostering the semiconductor industry.
