Shiva Xerox and Digital, Sheshadripuram, Bengaluru installed three Konica Minolta monochrome production 1052 and KM Digital Press C8000 at its outlet to expand its digital printing business through their national partner KMI Business Technologies.

The machines are housed in a 3000 sq. ft. plant which serves as a walk-in show room with pre-printing design capabilities and a work force of 20 members. Shiva Xerox and Digital also installed finishing equipment support to Konica Minolta machines like case making, binging, lamination and a programmable cutting machine. They also have an in-house flex printing and a large format machine.

User-friendly operations

MB Shivakumar and Shobha Shivakumar are partners in Shiva Xerox and Digital. Shivakumar started his career in the printing industry as a binder and a screen printer way back in 1996.

MB Shivakumar wanted to have a one-stop digital printing outlet which covered the entire range of printing solutions, and was available at affordable prices without compromising on quality. The company has been able to achieve this after installing the state-of-the-art Konica Minolta presses.

Before deciding on Konica Minolta, MB Shivakumar evaluated all the options available in the market and finalized the Konica Minolta products based on the quality and the return on investment.

MB Shivakumar says, “We were looking for a solution where the prints were more economical with optimum quality with consistent color reproduction and print speed and found that Konica Minolta C8000 and 1052 met all our needs.”

Shobha Shivakumar says, “Konica Minolta machines which are installed are different from the other brands of machines used so far as they have highly advanced technology with user-

friendly operations.”
