M K Packaging was launched by business partners Tarun Jain and Tarun Vohra as a packaging enterprise in Delhi’s Naraina Industrial Area in the year 2017. The company, which started operations with a Chinese rigid box-making machine, has expanded to cartons, commercial printing, and corrugated boxes.

The firm installed a brand new Komori Enthrone 429 in December 2023 to expand into commercial printing. M K Packaging is mainly doing job work for advertising agencies for magazines, brochures, catalogs, pamphlets, manuals, stickers, and leaflets.

Speaking on the recent Komori installation, Jain said, “The Komori machine helped us to move our printing operations in-house. It is economical and efficient in printing. Komori’s service is also excellent with its reliable and well-trained service professionals.”

Jain is not new to Komori machines. He worked under the guidance of his uncle from Anupama Printers in the Naraina Industrial Area from 2005 to 2017 before the company’s operations were shifted to Gurugram. Jain’s uncle owned the printing press since 1972 and he learned the ABCs of the printing and packaging industry from him. Apart from the Komori machines, M K Packaging has two single-color Heidelberg machines for its printing operations.

M K Packaging is operating out of an area of approximately 10,000 square feet in Naraina. Its centrally located space ensures it is easily accessible for nearby printers and there is no problem in procuring raw materials. The firm is mostly into job work in the Naraina Industrial Area but also supplies cartons and corrugated boxes to Kolkata, Roorkee, Kundli in Sonepat, apart from exporting to Denmark.

Crompton Greaves, Bajaj, Havells, and Prestige are some of the 30 companies to which M K Packaging supplies cartons and corrugated boxes. M K Packaging uses local manual die-cutting, pasting, and stitching machines for its packaging operations. Going further, Jain plans to install a Komori Lithrone 540 to enhance his operations in the near future.
