Re India, a subsidiary branch of Re-SpA, Italy, provides a range of equipment designed to optimize production and reduce time, to the paper, printing, and packaging industry in India. The company showcased its range of machinery and equipment such as pneumatic and electromagnetic powder brakes and clutches, load cells, tension controllers, amplifiers, longitudinal slitting systems, and modules from Helios and rotary unions from Girol, at Paperex 2023.
Among the multiple pneumatic brakes, the CX model of combiflex brakes is the most popular in the industry, says Saurin Patel, assistant sales manager, Re India. “Owing to the pad life, accuracy, and quality, the CX model is used by 90% of our paper mill customers,” Patel said. The combiflex brakes are disc brakes and clutches with a modular calipers system. The standard version is available with discs of 200 to 500 mm, from 0.75 to 4620 Nm of braking torque, and up to 15 kw of heat dissipation.
Patel says Re India holds a good reputation for its tension controllers and amplifiers. T-One tension controller, T-Two tension controller, Pyxis amplifier, and Ara amplifiers were showcased at its stand. The two agency businesses of Re India – Helios and Girol – displayed their wares as well. The pneumatic knife holder from Helios and rotary unions for water and coolant, oil, steam, air, and vacuum from Girol were some of the products.
Patel highlighted the increased number of exhibitors and visitors at Paperex 2023 in comparison with previous editions. “Our customers are mostly from the technical departments of paper mills. Restrictions in plant visits lead to improper information about machine parts. Our participation in the exhibition gives them a chance to witness the mechanical equipment here live and learn about them,” Patel said.
