Gurgaon-based Standard Copier Systems installed a Konica Minolta bizhub Press C1085 in mid- 2015. The four-year-old company prints company profiles, visiting cards, brochures, invitation cards, magazines, training manuals, promotional materials as well as offers postpress and prepress services that include binding, lamination and designing for corporate customers like Rites, BHEL, Reliance Power Transmission and Larsen & Toubro. With the new C1085 digital press, the company is able to increase its print volume to 140,000 pages a month – up from 40,000. “The production will go up further in the next few months once we run the new press at full capacity,” says Nitish Srivastava of Standard Copier Systems.
Apart from the new C1085, Standard Copier already has a Konica Minolta bizhub 6000 installed about three years ago. “Demand is increasing and to delight our customers with better quality and turnaround time, we installed the new press. We believe in providing comprehensive service to our customers,” says Srivastava.
The new C1085 digital press at Standard Copier comes with automatic setup and in-line finishing features. The large-capacity paper feed unit PF-708 increases the paper input capacity to as many as 4,630 sheets and provides enhanced media processing for paper weights from 55 to 350 grams per square metre. All paper sizes can be fed from each tray; paper feeding from all trays is based on vacuum technology and in addition the PF-708 is equipped with a document feeder for scanning and copying. The C1085 also comes with an optional heating unit which ensures smooth printing onto preprinted offset and coated media and facilitates trouble-free printing in areas with high humidity. The press enables print production without manual intervention, as the output device is automatically adjusted to the correct settings by the job ticket.
“The competition in the market is too fierce and the only way to survive it is to deliver better quality jobs on time at a competitive price. We try our best to provide our customers the quality and price they can get in Nehru Place or Naraina. When these twin aspects are taken care of properly, customers find it more convenient to come to us rather than going all the way to Delhi to get their jobs done.” Standard Printers also provides vinyl stands printed by its outsourced printer partners. “We try to provide the maximum services to our customers – allowing them the convenience of getting their work done under a single roof.”
