Chili publish has decided to cancel its participation at drupa 2020 amid growing COVID-19 concern

Chili publish announced that it has decided to cancel its presence at drupa, taking place in Düsseldorf, Germany, from 16 to 26 June 2020. The company was set to have a booth to welcome visitors from all over the world to demonstrate the new features within Chili publisher, the industry-renowned software solution that simplifies and automates the production of graphics. By putting the health and safety of its global team first, the Chili publish management hopes to further reduce large-scale exposure to Coronavirus (COVID-19) and ensure business continuity.

Chili publish is taking all precautions as advised by leading health organizations in its personal and business environments. With the public health risks related to coronavirus continuing to grow, statistics urged the Chili publish management to revise its attendance at large-scale, international gatherings.

The company therefore regrets the cancellation at the key print event that only takes place every four years. Kevin Goeminne, chief executive officer of Chili publish says, “drupa is the highlight for anyone in print and packaging. Our team worked hard to deliver new features within the Smart Templates in Chili publisher, as requested by B2B printers, brand owners and agencies. However, we have a responsibility towards our team, partners, customers and the whole community worldwide to ensure that business continuity and full operability prevail at all times.”

Confirmed customer and prospect meetings to showcase the new features in Chili publisher are being rebooked to individual meetings, dedicated webinars and online (1-1 and/or group) meetings. The company is currently investigating alternatives to reach and serve the drupa visitor audience, with new features to be announced as scheduled towards the end of April.
