The Book of Arts, an Indo-French initiative by curator and art expert Alka Pande and publisher Marc Parent, aims at being the annual meeting for publishers, art curators, educationalists and experts in Art history. The event will be held from 11-13 February 2018, at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

The Book of Arts is a platform that connects readers including younger audience with the future of art book publishing along with all the digital innovations and the revolution happening in the framework of art itself.

The event will be inaugurated with a keynote by Alka Pande and Eric de Chassey. A round-table will be conducted the next day which will be chaired by Pande, Chassey, Priya Kapoor (Roli Books), Bipin Shah (Mapin Publishing), Jurgen Boos (Frankfurt Book Fair), Priyanka Malhotra (Full Circle), Kishore Singh (Delhi Art Gallery), Marc Parent and Sanjoy Roy (Teamwork Arts) followed by a workshop on the last day with Samit Das, titled ‘Revisiting Modern Art in India.’

A workshop for children, titled ‘Making Little Books,’ will also be arranged on the last day
