Started in the year 1986, Mumbai-based Siddharth Offset and Chandana Graphics recently installed color management software from Advanced Graphics System (AGS) for better print quality, production and reduce wastage.

New update AGS

Siddharth Wagal, partner at Chandana Graphics & Siddharth Offset says, “We have upgraded our setup recently with ink presetting software  from AGS, which has helped us to generate 95% results in just 10 impressions.”

Speaking on the benefits of the color management software, Wagal says, “We usually have jobs of small quantities and the new color management tool has significantly reduced the make-ready time for printing.”

The company works out of a 5,100 square feet area divided into 6 galas in Mumbai’s Shah and Nahar Industrial Estate. It currently has two offset printing machines from Heidelberg—the Speedmaster SM 74-5—which operate on a combined capacity of 200,000 per day. The two presses were upgraded two years ago to boost the company’s production capacity.

In addition to the two Heidelberg presses, the setup has STAHL folding machines, polar cutting machines, pasting, indexing and peeling machines. The company also has Perfecta 115 TS cutting machine, which is suitable for paper, plastic and rubber.

The company mostly has clients from the pharmaceutical and advertising sectors and undertakes printing jobs of visual ads, medical books, promotional material, calendars and others. Wagal states, “The company’s USP lies in its quality output and timely delivery orders. With such setups, we are experiencing 15% growth in the business.”

With quality and innovation at the core of what they do, Siddharth Offest and Chandana Graphics have been able to bag more than 40 national and two South Asian awards for excellence in printing.

Future

Recently, the company has entered into ceramics swatch books for ceramic players to showcase the patterns. Further, the company plans to have a packaging plant at Bhivandi in Thane district. For the same, the company has acquired space of around 15,000 square feet and the work will be resumed only after the implementation of GST.
