Komori India conducted two industry-engagement programs in Kochi and Coimbatore, bringing together key printing professionals, technology experts and business leaders.
The programs highlighted Komori’s global presence, product portfolio and end-to-end printing solutions, while addressing evolving industry trends, operational challenges and opportunities for sustainable future growth. The first program was held on 22 September 2026 at Holiday Inn Kochi, followed by Komori Connect: Coimbatore on 24 September 2026 at Jenney’s Residency.
The programs were designed to move beyond conventional product presentations and provide printers with practical insights into technology adoption, process improvement, financial planning and long-term business competitiveness.
Connecting with Kerala’s printing community
The Kochi roadshow attracted several leading printers and industry representatives from the region, including Rajesh G, president of the Kerala Master Printers’ Association (KMPA), R Thomas of Orange Printers and Sabbu of Five Star.
The program highlighted the capabilities of Komori printing presses and their relevance in addressing the present-day requirements of commercial and packaging printers. Discussions focused on automation, consistent print quality, productivity, operational efficiency and the need for businesses to respond effectively to changing customer expectations.
The speakers addressed the importance of process standardization, effective production management and informed technology investments in improving profitability.
“The Komori Connect program at Holiday Inn Kochi was a well-organized and highly informative event. As president of the Kerala Master Printers’ Association, I was pleased to see leading printers and Komori users from across Kerala coming together on one platform,” said Rajesh G.
“Komori has established a strong reputation in the printing industry for the durability, reliability and print quality of its presses. The seminar offered valuable insights into Komori’s latest technological developments, machine features and software solutions, along with their practical benefits for printers. Such knowledge-sharing initiatives are extremely valuable, and I would encourage Komori and other printing-technology manufacturers to conduct more programs of this nature in the future,” he added.
Komori Connect reaches Coimbatore
Following the Kochi program, Komori India organised Komori Connect: Coimbatore on 24 September at Jenney’s Residency.
The programs highlighted Komori’s global presence, extensive product portfolio and end-to-end printing solutions. Komori India demonstrated how the appropriate combination of printing technology and automation can help printers enhance productivity, improve print performance and respond more effectively to shorter turnaround times and increasingly demanding quality requirements.
Technology, knowledge and partnerships
“Komori has built its position over more than a century by responding to the changing needs of printers worldwide. Today, packaging is emerging as an important growth engine for the industry, and printers increasingly require presses that combine quality, flexibility and responsiveness with reliable, repeatable production. Through the Kochi and Coimbatore programs, we wanted to demonstrate how Komori’s technologies can help Indian printers pursue value-added packaging opportunities while improving consistency, predictability and profitability,” said Jun Sudo, president, Komori India.
“Looking ahead, four priorities will shape the next decade: value-added packaging, standardization, sustainability and smart manufacturing. Future-ready businesses will need to connect people, processes and data, improve operational efficiency and prepare for evolving compliance requirements. The future belongs to companies that build capabilities, not simply capacity. Komori is committed to supporting printers in this transformation through technology, knowledge and long-term partnerships,” Sudo added.
Jitender Rohilla, general manager – sales, Komori India, said the two programs provided the company with an opportunity to understand the priorities of printers in both markets.
“Face-to-face interactions with printers give us a clearer understanding of their production challenges, application requirements and investment priorities. The discussions in Kochi and Coimbatore showed that printers are looking for solutions that can deliver greater automation, faster turnaround, consistent quality, lower waste and dependable long-term support,” Rohilla said.
“Our responsibility extends beyond supplying a printing press. We work closely with customers to identify the right configuration, understand the commercial objectives behind an investment and support them throughout the life cycle of the equipment. Programs such as Komori Connect strengthen this consultative approach and help us build deeper, long-term relationships with the printing community,” he added.
An integrated approach to business transformation
Through the two programs, Komori India reinforced its commitment to maintaining close engagement with regional printing communities and understanding their changing business and production requirements.
The events underlined that investment in printing technology must be supported by sound financial planning, process standardization, employee training and the effective use of production data.
The company plans to continue engaging with printers across the country through knowledge-sharing programs that encourage technology adoption, operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
