Classic Printer of Prayagraj in Uttar Pradesh has been using Canon technology for years. Key presses currently running at the print shop’s production setup are predominantly from Canon India. Joining the two existing flagship Canon digital production presses is a brand new Canon imagePRESS V1000 digital colour production press, to meet the demand for quality graphics in vibrant colors and innovative textures and patterns.

Jogendra Gupta, owner, Classic Printer, said, “When we say quality printing on wide varieties of media for unique textures and colors in graphic print outputs as large as posters, the new iPR V1000 is the right machine. We have chosen the Canon digital color production press as our third from Canon India to propel our business. The machine is packed with modern features, advanced technologies, and added capabilities. We keep boosting productivity and applications across diverse media with the new iPR V1000, a truly amazing Canon engine.”

A perfectly engineered digital color production press, the iPR V1000 is compact and robust to operate at a maximum speed of delivering 100 A4 pages per minute (ppm). It prints on a broad array of printing materials, including synthetic and textured media. As per the choices and demands of their customers, the Classic Printer is flexible printing both lightweight and heavyweight media starting from 52 gsm up to 400 gsm to produce wide varieties of graphics in diverse textures and finishes. Moreover, it handles large size graphics in superb colours and exquisite textures.

In addition to speed and media flexibility, the iPR V1000 prints graphics in 2400 x 2400 dpi. With speed, media flexibility, and high print resolution, this new Canon press at Classic Printer has other capabilities such as maximum capacity to store papers up to 11,100 sheets at a time with additional options, which eventually makes it a machine of continuous running with little interruptions in between.

Gupta recalls, “Eight years ago, the first Canon machine from Canon India arrived at our facility. It was an imagePRESS C850, a fast-speed digital press with excellent finishing options. It was followed by an imagePRESS C100000VP, known for printing graphics in exceptional quality, productivity, and media versatility. The latest iPR V1000, installed in June this year, is for handling larger and superior graphics like auto-duplex banner sheets up to 1300 mm long.

Being a one-stop digital print shop, Classic Printer offers premium graphics and arrays of finished-products such as cards, brochures, booklets, pamphlets, fliers, etc. for customers from diverse businesses and different walks of life.
