Delhi Press, publisher of titles such as Caravan, Champak, Grihshobha, Sarita and Motoring World, is expanding its magazine reach through a partnership with quick-delivery platforms like Blinkit, aiming to scale circulation to one million copies this fiscal year.

Currently, over 50,000 copies are sold monthly across 40 cities via such apps, with plans to grow through e-commerce, subscriptions, and corporate tie-ups.

Publisher Anant Nath said the company is seeing a strong revival in magazine readership, driven by demand for credible, long-form content. He noted that faster delivery and digital access are helping magazines fit into modern lifestyles, from commuters to families seeking screen-free options.

“We are witnessing a powerful revival in magazine reading. Over the last three years our circulation growth has been remarkable. By taking our editorially curated, trusted content directly to readers through quick – delivery and digital channels, we are making magazines more accessible and relevant to modern habits – whether it’s busy professionals grabbing a long – form feature on their commute, parents choosing healthy alternatives to screen time for children, or families rediscovering shared reading,” Nath said.

Our diverse portfolio – from investigative journalism and long – form storytelling to children’s education and women’s lifestyle guidance – positions Delhi Press uniquely to benefit from this renewed appetite for credible, meaningful content across Bharat.”

COO Shailesh Srivastava described the move as a strategic shift to meet readers where they already are—on everyday apps. Early results from Blinkit are encouraging, and the company plans to expand across more platforms and locations to boost reach.

A Blinkit spokesperson added that quick commerce is helping print regain popularity, with Delhi Press titles resonating across both metro and non-metro audiences due to their accessibility and trusted content.
