Dehradun-based Anurag Printers, a provider of commercial printing and signage solutions, recently invested in a Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090. Established in 1981 by Vimal Arora, the company started with letterpress printing and evolved significantly with the adoption of advanced printing technologies and modern machinery.
Since 2001, under the founder and owner Vimal Arora, the company has expanded its capabilities across digital printing, flex printing, and signage solutions—building a strong reputation and a diverse client base. His son, Siddharth Arora, currently oversees operations, business development, and the overall production of the company.
“Our clientele includes a wide range of organizations, including banks, educational institutions, pharmaceutical companies, and hospitals. We work extensively with B2B clients, offering customized printing and signage solutions based on their specific requirements,” Arora says.
The company operates with a team of around 14 skilled professionals managing various aspects of production, design, and operations, ensuring smooth workflows and consistent quality delivery.
On the recent investment, Arora says, “Our decision to invest in Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090 was driven by the brand’s strong reputation, reliability, and consistent performance. Having previously worked with Konica Minolta machines, we were confident in their quality and efficiency. The new investment enables us to enhance our production capabilities and meet evolving customer demands more effectively.”
The AccurioPress C7090 supports up to 400 g/m2 paper weight in simplex and duplex printing, and a long sheet size of up to 1300 mm and duplex up to 900 mm. It offers advanced and creative print possibilities (including high-quality imagery in full bleed) and delivers more jobs with added value effectively.
The company expects to achieve a return on investment within approximately two to three years, driven by increased production capacity, improved efficiency, and the ability to expand its service offerings to a broader customer base.
According to Arora, Konica Minolta provided comprehensive support during installation along with hands-on training for the team, ensuring a smooth transition and efficient operation. Its after-sales service, supported by skilled engineers and readily available spare parts, further ensures minimal downtime and seamless production.
Alongside the Konica Minolta AccurioPress C7090, the company’s production machines include its flex printing setup with a 512i machine. “Our existing infrastructure also includes eco-solvent printers, hot and cold lamination machines, custom sticker cutting systems, and hydraulic cutting machines, enabling us to offer end-to-end printing and finishing solutions,” he said.
