Monotech Systems, with a large stand and a number of machines at Pamex 2026, presented one of the most comprehensive portfolios at the show, spanning digital production printing, embellishment, UV printing, finishing solutions, and large-format inkjet systems.
According to Tej Prakash Jain, managing director, Monotech Systems, the centre of attraction was the PixelGlow Vertex V2 format system (launched during Printpack 2025) capable of running at up to 125 B2 sheets per hour. Positioned as a high-performance digital embellishment platform for commercial printers and packaging converters, the Vertex was complemented by the entry-level Lumina and the newly launched Radiant Pro Plus (A3+). The entire set highlighted the embellishment offerings from Monotech designed to address varying investment capacities and application needs.
Jain further noted that the company has seen strong market execution and interest since the Vertex was introduced during Printpack. “We launched our Vertex digital embellishment press at PrintPack. Since then, we have seen good traction building up in the market with six machines already installed,” Jain said, adding that several more installations are currently under discussion.
The Radiant Pro Plus, launched as an A3-format alternative, has broadened the addressable market. “Radiant Pro Plus is almost a similar machine, but in A3 format. That is getting much bigger traction, as this is relevant for all digital print shops and is able to take the digital embellishment to the next level,” Jain explained, highlighting the machine’s suitability for short-run commercial jobs, premium invitations, photo books, and value-added marketing collateral.
Beyond embellishment, Monotech demonstrated its wide-ranging digital production capabilities. On display were Ricoh production presses, including the Pro 7500 – a 5-color printing machine offering CMYK plus capabilities – and the Pro 5400, positioned as an entry-level production printing engine. These systems cater to commercial printers seeking consistent output quality and flexibility across applications.
Finishing solutions from Plockmatic also attracted attention, while Canon’s large-format inkjet printers were showcased with a specific focus on newspaper printing and litho poster printing. Jain mentioned that Monotech is strategically positioning these systems for evolving print requirements in publishing and large-format graphics.
The stand also featured UV roll-to-roll and UV flatbed systems under Monotech’s Pixeljet brand. Sample galleries highlighted the knowzzlejet high-speed web press series, powered by Memjet printheads, targeting applications such as label printing, digital embellishment, and book-on-demand production.
According to Jain, the response at the exhibition was encouraging across segments. “Overall, it has been an encouraging response, good footfall and good order bookings as well, particularly for our PixelGlow digital embellishment products. Also, good attention is given to our high-speed inkjet digital presses,” he said.
Jain, in the interaction, stated that Monotech is preparing to expand its web inkjet portfolio. He revealed that the company will soon launch a large-format knowzzlejet series with an 880 mm web width, which has already generated strong interest among visitors at the show.
Monotech at the exhibition showcased its strong emphasis on value addition through embellishment and high-speed inkjet production.
