Roland DG unveiled its latest printing innovations and special show offers at Media Expo 2025, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. The company’s stand highlighted a full lineup, including UV print-and-cut systems, eco-solvent, and resin-based printers.

Takuto Hasegawa, business development manager at Roland, shared insights into the brand’s new offerings and exclusive deals designed especially for the show.

At the forefront of Roland’s exhibit was the UG-642, a UV print-and-cut machine that, according to Hasegawa, was one of the company’s top-selling products globally. Combining high-quality UV printing with precision contour cutting, the UG-642 allows users to produce a wide range of applications from labels and decals to packaging prototypes, signage, and customized promotional items. He mentioned the exclusive discount of Rs 3.5 lakh on the UG-642, available only during Media Expo 2025.

Another innovation on display was the ER-642, Roland’s latest eco-solvent print-only machine. Unlike the UG-642, which includes both print and cut capabilities, the ER-642 is dedicated to high-speed, high-quality printing for those who prioritize productivity. “The ER-642 is currently the fastest print-only machine in the Roland lineup,” Hasegawa explained. “It’s designed for customers who need to produce large volumes efficiently without compromising on quality.”

In addition to the new machine, Roland introduced the DEA2 ink, a new low-cost ink formulation. “We are launching DEA2 ink for this show,” Hasegawa said, adding the same ₹3.5 lakh promotional offer was available on the ER-642 as well.

Roland also showcased its resin printer, a machine designed for fast turnaround times and versatile applications. One of its major advantages is the instant usability of prints — resin-printed materials do not require extended drying time, making them ready for immediate use. “This printer is perfect for applications such as vehicle wraps, interior décor, and wall coverings,” Hasegawa highlighted. “The ability to print and apply immediately saves time and increases production efficiency.”

One more machine on display was the MO-240 UV flatbed printer, a system designed for direct printing on rigid materials. From glass and metal to wood, acrylics, and more, the MO-240 enables users to explore limitless customization options.

The MO-240 allows users to print directly on various rigid substrates with remarkable color accuracy and texture,” explained Hasegawa. “This opens doors for industries such as interior décor, packaging, promotional merchandise, and signage where customization and premium aesthetics are increasingly in demand.”

During the interaction, he expressed optimism about Roland’s growing footprint in the Indian market. “This is my third Media Expo in Delhi. I have attended in Mumbai and Chennai earlier,” he said. “Every time, the response and enthusiasm from the Indian audience are incredible.”

He said the Delhi edition, in particular, has been fantastic, with a strong visitor turnout and high engagement. The exhibition served as a valuable platform for Roland to connect with distributors, customers, and potential partners, while gathering feedback on market needs and emerging trends.
