Delhi-based Print Media, a young establishment in commercial digital printing, has bought a brand new Ricoh Pro C7500 from Monotech Systems to expand its business and make progress in digital printing.

Ricoh Pro C7500, an advanced digital color production press, is an upgrade from its predecessor, the Ricoh Pro C7200X. “When we decided to invest in an advanced and highly capable digital production press, we did expansive searches and comparisons. Finally, all the features and capabilities of the Ricoh Pro C7500 met our requirements. This digital press is truly a workhorse when its speed is concerned,” says Sanjeev Rajput, proprietor of Print Media.

Designed compact and robust, the Ricoh Pro C7500 is capable of operating at an upgradable speed of 95ppm (pages per minute). According to Sanjeev, its media versatility also attracted them. “Using this newly installed Ricoh machine, we are now into printing and production of larger graphics on thicker media, which we have not experienced before. This press will definitely help us expand our customer base with newer applications,” he said.

Starting from thin 40 gsm media up to heavy 470 gsm materials, the Ricoh Pro C7500 is compatible with a wide range of substrates, either lightweight or heavyweight. After all, its print quality is also commendable. It delivers graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi. “This machine is a complete combo of quality prints and speedy delivery. Its make-ready time is fast. We are now moving ahead with it,” Sanjeev says.

About the other features of Ricoh Pro C7500, EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers in the press is for significantly improving print quality and efficiency. Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers flawlessly facilitates precise job management and colour control that eventually help users engage in quick production of quality graphics and personalised prints with the press’ advanced variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

Currently, Print Media is backed by a small printing and production team, where Sanjeev and his brother Vikas Rajput take care of everything. “We are now just at the beginning. Gradually, we will expand with the constant investments in new and modern machines, like the Ricoh Pro C7500, to cater every finished product ranging from business cards up to posters under one roof,” says Sanjeev, adding that they further plan to gradually  upgrade the machine line and manpower.

Sanjeev says the digital printing market is now rapidly expanding with new prospects for short-run and print-on-demand jobs. “Our installation of the Ricoh Pro C7500 is the right step for us to mark our presence in the market with high-end prints in unique textures and vivid colours. We are thankful to the team Monotech Systems for the machine and their amiable post-sales support,” he concludes.
