Epson, a global leader in imaging solutions, has launched its new line of SureColor eco-solvent signage printers — the SC-S9130, SC-S8130, and SC-S7130 — aiming to set a new standard for color, speed, and print quality in the signage industry. The company announced the release on 24 September 2025, in Bangalore, India, noting that the new printers are designed to meet the demands of modern, fast-paced businesses while reducing operational costs and environmental impact.

According to a press release, the new series features a major upgrade to a single, larger PrecisionCore printhead, which replaces the dual-head design of previous models to deliver greater detail and precision at higher speeds. The printers also use high-capacity ink packs, up to 1500 ml, instead of traditional cartridges, which significantly lowers running costs and generates less eWaste.

SureColor SC-S9130 — Industry’s first 11-color signage printer

The flagship SureColor SC-S9130 stands out as the industry’s first 11-color signage printer. It features the exclusive UltraChrome GS3 ink set that includes a green ink, expanding the color gamut by up to 19%. This innovation enables the creation of exceptionally vibrant and lifelike visuals, making it ideal for high-impact branding and luxury signage.

For businesses needing high-volume performance, the SureColor SC-S8130 is a 6-color printer with dual ink slots for uninterrupted production, featuring light cyan and light magenta for smooth gradations. Meanwhile, the SureColor SC-S7130 offers a reliable and cost-effective 4-color solution for everyday signage needs, including banners and exhibition panels.

According to Prabagaran S, senior general manager, sales and marketing at Epson India, “The new printers empower businesses to deliver stunning visuals while improving efficiency and reducing environmental impact. The compact and stylish design of the new series makes them suitable for modern workspaces, while features like Epson Cloud Solution PORT enable real-time monitoring for optimized uptime.”

“These advancements reflect a growing industry trend toward more sustainable and efficient printing solutions, with Epson positioning its new SureColor series as a forward-thinking answer to these market demands,” he concludes.

  1. It’s interesting to see Epson pushing forward withBlog comment creation an 11-color signage printer—definitely a step toward higher quality and more precise color reproduction. I’m curious how this might impact turnaround times for shops that need both vivid outdoor signage and more detailed indoor graphics. It feels like a move that could really blur the line between traditional display prints and fine-art level output in the signage world.
