Epson, a global leader in imaging and digital solutions, has announced the availability of two advanced document scanners in India – the Epson DS-1730 ADF with flatbed document scanner and the Epson DS-1760WN wireless network duplex document scanner.

Designed to support the fast-paced digitization needs of Indian organizations, these scanners offer robust features, high-speed performance, and flexible connectivity for sectors such as government, healthcare, BFSI, and education.

In an era where workplaces are rapidly shifting to digital-first operations, scanners have evolved from peripheral devices to critical enablers of productivity, compliance, and collaboration. From converting paper records into secure, searchable formats to streamlining document sharing across teams and geographies, advanced scanning solutions are helping organizations meet the demands of speed, accuracy, and data security. As businesses embrace hybrid and paper-light workflows, the role of high-performance, connected scanners has never been more vital.

Powerful scanning

The Epson DS-1730 is a compact, high-performance flatbed scanner offering duplex scanning speeds of up to 30 pages per minute and a 60-page auto document feeder (ADF). Its daily duty cycle of up to 3,000 pages ensures reliable performance in high-demand environments. The flatbed functionality allows easy scanning of documents such as office documents, passports, PAN cards, certificates, old records, and medical reports – a frequent requirement in offices.

Streamlined Workflows

Both scanners are bundled with Epson Scan 2 and Document Capture Pro software, offering an intuitive scanning experience with powerful features such as:

*Searchable PDFs and editable Word/Excel files via OCR (Optical Character Recognition),
