Gaya (Bihar)-based Manglam Papers & Cards, a printer and producer of wedding cards and customized packaging print solutions, has upgraded its capabilities with a High-Drip Master UV system from SASG UV Solutions. A new and upgraded model, the high-drip master, launched during Printpack India 2025, is designed for high-speed UV coating applications.

“With time, we keep adding new technologies or machines to improve quality and innovation in our overall print outputs or end-products to meet customer demand,” says Subhanshu Raj of Manglam Papers & Cards. He says the investment in SASG’s UV system for print enhancement is part of the move.

Raj says they were planning a premium look and feel to the prints and decided to invest in a UV print enhancement system. “The High-Drip Master from SASG came into our mind because the machine stands out for its upgraded features. It creates a rich texture to shine on print surfaces, which adds great value to our products.”

Sankoch Gaur, director technical, SASG UV Solutions, says, “The High-Drip Master handles a broad range of applications such as spot UV, drip-off, hybrid, UV flood, window, aqua, HSL, velvet, and many other water-based and UV coatings.”

A family-run printing company, Manglam has been in the industry over the last 45 years, specializing in offset and digital. “As we have been extensively printing wedding cards, which need to be fancy, opting for the High-Drip Master UV system was a right move,” says Raj, adding, “We were impressed by the machine’s smooth drip effect, consistent quality, and ease of operation”

According to Raj, “The High-Drip Master gives a glossy and raised effect to prints. The drip and texture effects make even the simple designs look elegant and luxurious. After using SASG’s UV system, our prints have a richer feel. It changed the look of our end products. It saves time, reduces effort, and we are getting great feedback from customers.”

Launched recently as a successor to the Drip Master, the new High-Drip Master is comparatively capable to handle more stocks ranging from 60 gsm (lightweight) up to 450 gsm (heavyweight) papers. Its other advanced features include the water-cooled auto shutter and capability to handle maximum 15,000 sheets per hour, upgraded from the earlier capability of 10,000 sheets per hour.

Raj mentions, “We are satisfied with the after-sales support from SASG.”
