Digital printing solutions specialist Konica Minolta launched its flagship production press series, the AccurioPress C14010S, at the Print Expo Chennai 2025. According to the company, the press provides quality, versatility, and sustainability and will reshape commercial print operations.

Designed to meet the demands of today’s production environments, the AccurioPress C14010S series offers print speeds up to 140 ppm, media handling up to 450 gsm, and inline finishing capabilities that support a complete end-to-end workflow. With innovations such as the Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-601, Simitri V toner, and SEAD X image processing, the system ensures color accuracy, minimal operator intervention, and quality output, the company said.

With support for diverse substrates, including embossed paper, envelopes, recycled stock, and long sheets up to 1,300 mm, the C14010S series empowers print service providers to expand their offerings and take on more complex, high-value jobs. The optional fifth color unit (available in the S models) enables creative flexibility.

According to the company, engineered for uninterrupted performance, the AccurioPress C14010S includes features such as automated paper detection (IM-104/105), auto duplex alignment, and real-time defect detection. The platform handles up to 2.5 million prints per month, with smart engine linearization and self-correcting technologies that eliminate downtime and ensure repeatable, consistent output, even for novice operators.

Print providers can streamline production with a rich array of inline finishing options, from booklet making and stapling to crease, slit, and spine corner forming—all with minimal manual oversight. This transformed the AccurioPress C14010S into a ready-made solution for short turnarounds and on-demand printing, making it a powerhouse for high-throughput environments.

Manish Gupta, head – product life cycle and solution consultancy division, Konica Minolta India, said, “The AccurioPress C14010S series is a long-term business enabler. Every aspect, from automated quality control and media versatility to reliability under intense workloads, had been engineered to help print businesses scale efficiently without compromising on quality or uptime. With automated setup, real-time inspection, and an intuitive interface that even novice operators could master, we were reducing human friction and unlocking higher productivity. What we offered was more than a machine.”

Lalit Kumar, product manager – production print business, Konica Minolta, said, “With its advanced media flexibility, inline finishing, and real-time quality optimization, the C14010S redefined productivity benchmarks. It is not just a press, but a holistic production ecosystem designed for the print era of tomorrow.”

Aligned with the company’s vision to achieve net-zero CO₂ emissions by 2050, the C14010S series integrates Simitri V toner technology, is fused at lower temperatures, and has improved recyclability. The presses were manufactured using renewable energy and incorporated recycled materials.

As digital transformation became a strategic imperative, the AccurioPress C14010S stands as a smart factory printing solution that unites automation, intelligence, and environmental responsibility. Whether it was managing large volumes or executing detailed creative projects, this new series from Konica Minolta was built to help businesses grow sustainably, operate efficiently, and print perfectly, every time,” Gupta adds.

Konica Minolta also showcased other digital printing solutions at Print Expo Chennai 2025, featuring the AccurioPress C7100 enhanced with its precision and productivity, incorporating features such as the Intelligent Media Sensor IM-101 and IQ-501 unit for real-time quality and VDP inspection. The AccurioPress C4080 and C4065 offer high-speed output and image quality for businesses seeking efficient solutions for growing print demands.

For monochrome needs, the AP7120 provides high-speed printing with versatile inline finishing options. The AS3600 compact digital print enhancement solution captivated visitors with its ability to add 2D and 3D Spot UV gloss effects, enabling high-impact embellishments with minimal waste. Additionally, the AL230 digital label press demonstrates high-speed printing capabilities, ideal for fast, cost-efficient, and plate-free label production.
