At the Comics Business Centre (Hall 6.1), international publishers and agencies can showcase comics, manga and webtoons. They trade rights – from book series to digital stories for smartphones. A happy hour on Wednesday and Thursday (5 p.m.) offers additional space for discussions and new deals.
Guest of honor Philippines has with its own stand in the Comics Business Centre (6.1 A 38) where it will present the broad spectrum of Philippine comics.
Komiks: Philippines takes center stage (30 July 2025) with a virtual pitching and networking event — featuring comics from Frankfurter Buchmesse’s Guest of Honour 2025: the Philippines.
Fireside Chat: Informal online talk on ‘comics on the rise (7 October 2025)’ as part of the Frankfurt Masterclass is an added attraction.
There is a guided tour on Wednesday for trade visitors, leading straight into happy hour plus events on the International Stage on rights & licensing in comics.
Meet the expert with webtoon ambassador Sébastien Célimon on Wednesday, 15 October 2025, at 11 a.m. in the Comics Business Centre. More manga publishers will be present at in Hall 3.0 with new titles and series.

For families and fans
During the fair weekend (18–19 October 2025), Frankfurter Buchmesse invites fans and families to experience comics and manga up close. There is a comics and manga drawing corner in the Comics Business Centre (Hall 6.1) which visitors can join in and try out.
At Hall 3.0, publishers present new stories – from humorous strips to literary graphic novels. Signing sessions and readings with authors and illustrators.
