Insight Print Communications, a channel partner for the HP Latex R530 all-in-one hybrid printer, has installed India’s first HP Latex R530 at Design Tree Brand Solution in Okhla. Founded in 2010 by Sanjay Kumar, Design Tree was established with a mission to transform the way the sign and display market operates.
Design Tree is one of the leading print service providers in Okhla, delivering premium print solutions to corporate brands and agencies. An HP Latex user since inception, its printing started with the HP Latex 335, a third-generation machine, and later added a fourth-generation 5 ft HP Latex 700W, further strengthening its capabilities. Continuing this, Design Tree has now installed the all-in-one HP Latex R530 hybrid printer from Insight Print Communications, becoming the first in India to take this leap.
“We operate multiple printers using various technologies, but we needed a solution that could handle both roll-to-roll and rigid materials with superior quality, sustainability, and a smaller footprint. The HP Latex R530 printing solution is a win-win — it cuts waste and manpower while delivering sharper, higher-quality results. Its water-based inks offer the environmental benefits that are the need of the hour,” Sanjay Kumar, founder of Design Tree Brand Solution, remarked.
“This partnership is truly special. We’re excited to see Design Tree grow and succeed with this milestone. Insight has a strong track record of driving success for every HP flatbed we’ve introduced, and we’re committed to bringing that same expertise to Design Tree. Our application engineers are ready to support them in developing new, profitable applications that push creative boundaries,” comments Ashish Save, director – WFP, Insight Print Communications.
According to Save, the HP Latex R530 is an all-in-one hybrid printer designed to handle both flexible and rigid materials with ease, using advanced latex ink technology. It can print flexible media up to 64 inches wide and rigid substrates from 5 feet and up to 2 inches thick, delivering speeds of up to 258 sq ft per hour.
This printer features advanced Pixel Control Technology, which controls drop size at a pixel level to deliver high-definition print quality with smooth gradients. The HP Latex White Ink experience benefits from automatic ink recirculation and printhead cleaning for hassle-free performance. The HP Latex white ink is priced the same as standard inks, enabling premium results without the premium cost.
“One feature that stood out for us was how easily we can switch between flexible and rigid printing — something that’s quite challenging and time-consuming on our other presses. The HP Latex R530 is also compact, fitting perfectly into our limited production space, which was crucial for us. There’s no odor during printing and no eye irritation for our operators — they’re genuinely happier working with this machine,” added Kumar.
Today, brands are actively seeking sustainable print solutions, and the HP Latex R530 truly sets the benchmark. Powered by water-based inks, it offers one of the most eco-friendly printing technologies in the industry. With the HP Latex R530, you can print directly on virtually any substrate from rigid boards to paper-based materials, reducing the need for additional vinyl layers and extra finishing steps. This not only cuts down material waste and manpower but also makes the entire process cleaner and more cost-efficient.
By enabling direct printing on paper-based substrates, jobs become fully recyclable and significantly more eco-friendly, aligning perfectly with modern brands’ commitment to sustainability and circular production. With the HP Latex R530, sustainability isn’t just an option; it’s built into every print.
It’s exciting to see Design Tree leading the way with India’s first installation of the HP Latex R530. This move reflects a growing demand for more sustainable and versatile printing solutions in the signage and display industry. It’ll be interesting to watch how this technology shapes creative output and production efficiency going forward.
