Bharat Print Expo 2025 witnessed leading technology providers showcasing their latest innovations across offset, digital, flexo, gravure, screen, and 3D printing platforms.

The inaugural edition of Bharat Print Expo 2025, held from 24 to 26 April 2025 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), witnessed leading technology providers showcasing their latest innovations across offset, digital, flexo, gravure, screen, and 3D printing platforms. From advanced prepress solutions to high-speed post-press automation, the expo offered a panoramic view of the future of print.

Industry leaders such as Komori, Konica Minolta, Renuka Softec, Zhongke India, Printcomm, Redington-HP, and Sona Papers were among the key exhibitors at the event. These companies seized the opportunity to showcase their latest products and establish new business connections and deepen customer relationships.

At the expo along with an automatic rigid box-making machine, Zhongke India demonstrated its GS AT450, an automatic 3D embossing machine from its portfolio. Speaking to Indian Printer and Publisher, Pooja Rajpal, director of Zhongke India, emphasized the growing importance of automation and AI in the printing sector. “The exhibition, apart from the live demos, is more focused on AI integration and workflow automation, which is the need of the hour. Shifting to automation is no longer optional—it’s essential for staying competitive,” she said.

She also noted that the expo allowed Zhongke India to strengthen its presence in Southern India. Despite already having an existing customer base in the region, the company views Bengaluru as a key market for future expansion.

Discussions at various booths revolved around major industry trends, such as automation in packaging, advancements in commercial printing, breakthroughs in inkjet technology, and the increasing demand for sustainable packaging materials. These conversations highlighted the industry’s transition towards more intelligent and eco-friendly production systems.

Nippon Color, which recently introduced Oyang’s Pixelprint HD series digital inkjet book printing machines at Printpack 2025, also garnered strong interest at the Bharat Print Expo. Akshat Pardiwala, COO of Nippon Color, reported a steady flow of customer queries regarding the technology’s capabilities. “We’ve had a very positive response to the Oyang digital inkjet press since its launch, and Bharat Print Expo has brought in numerous new inquiries,” he shared.

Looking ahead, Pardiwala mentioned that the company plans to organize open houses at select customer sites across India. These sites will act as live demo centers, allowing prospective buyers to witness the machine’s performance in a production environment and evaluate the output quality using their files. “It’s a practical, hands-on way to showcase the press’s capabilities while ensuring it runs under optimal conditions,” he explained.

The expo proved particularly beneficial for small and medium-sized printing businesses looking for cost-effective automation solutions. These businesses found viable options for scaling up operations without heavy investment in manpower or space. According to one exhibitor, the footfall and quality of visitors were impressive for a first-edition event, indicating the industry’s readiness for change and innovation. Another exhibitor adds that his company will return for the next show.
