Establishing its first overseas sales office for the décor materials business in 1971, it has since expanded its business in the US, Europe, and Asia. The décor materials business is now leveraging synergies with Group companies such as Interprint, which has production sites in 10 countries, and Toppan Interamerica. These efforts are bolstering the Group’s capability to deliver the designs it has developed for a wide range of use cases, with offerings including recycled and biomass materials.
Products on show at interzum 2025
The Toppan Group will showcase decorative sheets, targeted at the furniture and interior industries in the residential and commercial sectors. It will showcase two types—a coated paper type and a film type using an olefin-based (non-PVC) material. The coated paper type is used for surfaces of housing interiors, such as furniture and fittings. The film type delivers superior surface properties and processability and also limits generation of harmful substances on incineration.

Based on interior trend insights from regions around the world, the company provides designs focused on future lifestyles. It will also propose new possibilities for spatial design by presenting multiple eco-friendly solutions, including recycled and biomass products rooted in the concept of a circular and decarbonized society.
The company will display at interzum its Dualsurf film, a decorative sheet that uses transparent decorative technologies developed by evolving Toppan’s techniques for rendering designs such as wood grain. The stand at interzum will feature a mock-up of Dualsurf film integrated in an interior, where content and information blend into the space. In addition it will show the Premium Surface Collection of decorative sheets using non-PVC resin that are available to markets outside Japan.
