A newly installed Ricoh Pro C9500 has enabled Lucknow-based Manas Printers to magnify its print volume. A longstanding Ricoh customer for years, the printer carried out its digital printing task with a fleet of Ricoh digital color production presses that it keeps upgrading for higher productivity and enhanced print quality.

“The latest Ricoh machine in our facility, Ricoh Pro C9500, is a top-of-the-line digital printer which we choose for high-volume jobs,” says MP Sharma, proprietor of Manas Printers. He says the new highly capable Ricoh digital press is the first machine from Monotech Systems.

Sharma adds, “It has been just a couple of months since we pushed the ‘start’ button of our new Ricoh Pro C9500, but we now realize how it is changing the game of our productivity. Before the recent installation of this robust model, we had been running a couple of other Ricoh digital color production presses which we bought from another supplier.”

He continues, “We have been familiar with Ricoh machines for years, but the moment we decided to invest in the Ricoh Pro C9500, it was the team from Monotech Systems which was knowledgeable to understand our approach and provided us with prompt information that eventually guided us and made our decision straightforward to choose the machine for high-volume jobs.”

Sharma continues, “Before the Ricoh Pro C9500, our digital printing volume was 40,000 sheets. Now, with the new Ricoh workhorse, it has increased straight to 1 lakh sheets, but targeting to make it 2.5 lakh sheets soon.” Packed with advanced features and capabilities, Ricoh Pro C9500 operates at an upgradable speed of 135 ppm, delivering prints in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400 x 4800 dpi, produced on diverse stocks ranging from 40 gsm up to 470 gsm. It supports print   sizes from 13″× 19″ to 13″× 49.6″, with oversized banner sheet printing extended up to 38″, ensuring greater flexibility for high-volume and specialty print applications.

According to Sharma, in addition to speed, the Ricoh Pro C9500 is versatile in media handling. “It supports thick and thin papers as well as synthetic and specialty substrates, which in turn enables us to expand our offering,” he emphasizes. Ricoh Pro C9500 is driven by EFI Fiery Digital Print Servers to optimize efficiency and quality in print operations. Intuitive Fiery Command WorkStation in the servers facilitates precise job management and color control, enabling quick production of personalized products with the press’ variable data printing capabilities in exceptional RIP speeds and smooth PDF workflows.

Engaging in services to offer digitally printed end products such as leaflets, business cards, thesis, project reports, letterheads, and many others, Manas Printers in its last 12 years of business has been working for customers from different sectors, businesses, and individuals. Mr Sharma mentions that they have significantly gained a new game of high-volume digital printing with the new Ricoh Pro C9500.
