For Monotech Systems, Eastern Print Pack 2024 Kolkata was a successful show with the company showcasing its digital printing technologies and digital print embellishments, including those from Ricoh.

Akash Kumar from Monotech’s marketing and communications team told Indian Printer & Publisher that exhibitors put the spotlight on the latest innovations in digital printing, highlighting systems that offer precision and speed. Monotech Systems participated in Eastern Print Pack 2024 to showcase its commitment to advancing the gold standard of digital printing and print embellishments.

“The showcase included the next-gen Ricoh digital presses capable of high-quality prints with intricate detail, vital for businesses aiming to meet the growing demand for customizable and high-end print products. Digital print embellishment was a major theme, with new solutions for adding texture, foil, spot varnish, and embossing to prints without traditional, labor-intensive processes. These technologies enable printers to achieve superior finishes, such as holographic effects and tactile designs, which elevate the final product,” he said.

The focus, he said, was on demonstrating how advanced technologies can help businesses achieve superior quality, efficiency, and innovation in their print applications. “We showcased a range of advanced Ricoh digital printing and PixelGlow embellishment solutions. Our focus was on demonstrating how these innovations elevate the standard of digital printing and print embellishment for diverse commercial applications.”

Monotech highlighted the Ricoh Pro C7500 digital production press for high-volume, superior quality, and exceptional color consistency; the Ricoh Pro C5310, a cost-effective solution for commercial printing; the PixelGlow Lumina digital embellishment solution and Canon large format printers for high-quality banners, posters, and trade show materials.

“The response at our stand was overwhelmingly positive. Visitors were particularly excited by the combination of speed, versatility, and quality of these machines. Many visitors were impressed with the PixelGlow Lumina embellishment solution, seeing how embellishments are added to prints, providing a cost-effective yet luxurious touch that enhances brand identity. The feedback on the Ricoh Pro presses was equally positive, with many print service providers seeing the potential to elevate production capabilities and expand into new markets,” he said.

According to Kumar, the West Bengal market is important for the company due to its vibrant and rapidly growing print and packaging industry. The region has seen increased demand for advanced digital printing solutions, making it a key area for Monotech’s growth and innovation.

“Overall, our experience at the show was highly engaging, allowing us to connect with industry professionals, share insights on the future of digital printing, and showcase how these advanced solutions are setting new standards in quality, efficiency, and creativity.”

The primary objective, he said, was to increase market visibility and brand awareness in the print and packaging industry. “We aim to position ourselves as a leader in digital printing and embellishment. The show offered a platform to demonstrate the technological advancements of our solutions, showcasing how they set new standards in quality, speed, and efficiency through hands-on demonstrations. We hope to expand our market reach, especially in regions such as West Bengal and other emerging print hubs,” he concluded.
