The visitors were especially excited about how the technology manages various media with high precision. The program highlighted Konica Minolta’s emphasis on sustainable innovation, which appealed to the environmentally conscious.

Ashok Sethi, chief sales officer of Konica Minolta, told Indian Printer & Publisher that West Bengal is a strategic market for the company as the printing and packaging sectors are growing and the demand for personalized, high-quality solutions is increasing in the region. “The region is witnessing a growth in digital technologies, and the business ecosystem is vibrant. By engaging with local print businesses, Konica Minolta aims to provide solutions that meet the unique needs of the market, create long-term partnerships, and contribute to the development of the sector.”

On the Eastern Print Pack show, he said, “The products we displayed can solve the industry’s needs for increased productivity and high print quality. It was a highly positive experience because the attendees expressed a keen interest in knowing how such solutions could upgrade their operations. The meaningful conversations allowed us to learn about the expectations of our customers and market trends.”

Konica Minolta attended the show to expand its foothold in eastern India and interact face-to-face with key players in the industry. Eastern Print Pack provided a platform to present our latest technological advancements to a wider audience and to project its commitment to driving digital transformation in the printing and packaging sectors.

“It was also an opportunity to meet potential customers, to showcase solutions that serve the needs of changing markets, and to reaffirm its position as a leader in providing innovative and sustainable print solutions,” he says. “We expected Eastern Print Pack to be a catalyst for meaningful relationships with industry representatives, finding new business opportunities and gaining a deeper understanding of changes in the region’s needs.”

For the digital solution provider, the event was well-suited to demonstrate its latest innovations and solutions, which attracted much attention at the show. It enabled the company to reaffirm its brand’s presence, discuss issues with key stakeholders, and strengthen its position as an industry leader in pioneering developments in digital printing and packaging.

Manish Gupta, head of the product lifecycle management and planning division, Konica Minolta India, said, “The printing industry is at a fascinating inflection point where digital transformation meets sustainable innovation. The rising demand for personalization, coupled with the need for environmental responsibility, is driving us toward smart factories and automated workflows.”

On key industry trends, Gupta said, “As we look ahead, we see artificial intelligence and IoT integration becoming central to print operations, enabling predictive maintenance, automated color management, and unprecedented levels of customization. This transformation will not only optimize operations but also open new revenue streams for print businesses in ways we haven’t imagined before.”
