The BMPA Print Summit in Mumbai has become an annual event that is increasingly of interest to printers from across the country. This has happened as the conference or summit has kept listening to its expanding audience and developed a firm set of ideas and plans for improvement each year. Increasingly, participants from across the country are taking the opportunity to network with industry leaders, experts, and friends in the cosmopolitan and relaxed atmosphere created by their hosts. Leading printers and converters from North India are planning to attend the event again this year with their spouses.

We asked one of the regular Print Summit participants from Noida what attracts him to the show year after year, and he replied that it is a stress-free event that brings together healthy networking, with a bit of knowledge and entertainment. “There are a couple of expert sessions but no technical overload,” he said, adding, “Generally, there is an interesting motivational session as well.”

The organizers expect over 1,000 attendees at this year’s Print Summit. They intend to re-ignite the Be Unstoppable spirit, drawing inspiration from the cultural phenomenon of Tangram. “This year’s summit is not just another event in a series – it’s a celebration of innovation and a gathering of industry leaders pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,” says Faheem Agboatwala, chairperson of PS25.

Attendees will hear from Anand Kripalu, the managing director and global CEO of the leading global tube manufacturing company EPL. Kripalu will draw insights from his extensive experience in leadership roles at consumer product companies such as Cadbury and Unilever. In his current role, he has driven EPL’s sustainability initiatives and compliances, across its plants globally – his views on strategy and leadership are invaluable.

Bharat Goenka, the visionary behind Tally Solutions is likely to inspire participants by invoking the journey of revolutionizing accounting software in India. He will surely motivate our aspiring entrepreneurs to embrace innovation.

KBS Anand, former head of Asian Paints, will reveal the key insights that have shaped successful branding and marketing strategies. Similarly, Neelandra Singh, managing director of Adidas India, will share his unique approach to brand management and connecting with consumers. One can also look forward to Sunanda Leelaram of the Vedanta Cultural Foundation bringing joy, harmony, and inner peace to the event.

Artificial intelligence’s impact on the printing industry will be discussed by a panel moderated by Milap Shah. Panelists include industry veterans Harish Mehta, Shiva Vishwanathan, and Manu Choudhury who will share their insights on the implications of AI for the print and packaging sector – how these tools connect innovations and opportunities.

Faheem Agboatwala asks what is the spirit that drives these leaders to continue to innovate and maintain their success. “How do these individuals continually adapt and reinvent themselves in response to new developments across various fields?”

In addition, the PS25 will allow Iqbal Kherodawala (ITK), to weave and spin some inspiring tales from the printing industry, featuring mavericks like K Selvakumar of Lovely Offset and Khushru Patel of Jak Printers. “These two gentlemen transformed their hardships, failures, rejections, and challenges into success stories not only in the world of print but in other, very interesting spheres,” says Agboatwala. By the time it comes around, the summit is likely to add a few more interesting surprises and speakers.

At the end of what promises to be a 12-hour day, there is the performance by the globally recognized maestro Taufiq Qureshi, who will engage the audience in a captivating clap-along session, ensuring a joyful and interactive conclusion.
