To exploit the digital printing market, Udaipur-based COPL Digital, a newly unveiled sister concern & digital arm of COPL Print O Pack, has invested in a brand new PixelGlow, a fully automated advanced spot UV & foiling machine, which is made indigenously in India by Monotech Systems.

Since its inception in 2019, COPL Print O Pack has been providing packaging solutions for big corporate brands from different market sectors such as pharmaceuticals, foods & beverages, electronics, and retail. “We began with offset printing, then packaging, and now digital printing, it has been a long journey for a business started 50 years ago. Our father Hansraj Choudhary, who is the second generation in the business and an industry veteran with 40 years of experience, passed on these new COPL entities to us,” says Mohak Chaudhary, director, COPL Digital.

Certainly, beyond offset printing and packaging conversion, it’s now our turn to be established in digital printing. In this, our mission is to introduce a franchise model of regional units to be opened in tier-II cities across India. The ultimate idea of this model is to tie up with new partners in new geographies who can come to us, discuss over a cup of coffee for end-to-end digital printing solutions and move forward further,” explains Digvijay Choudhary, director, COPL Digital.

Along with the PixelGlow, COPL Digital has a Ricoh Pro C7500 and Ricoh Pro 8320S, all supplied and installed by Monotech Systems. “The Ricoh Pro C7500, a newly launched and upgraded model, is fully packed with advanced features which meet our overall requirement to maintain quality and standard in graphic prints,” says Mohak, adding, “In addition, we have the PixelGlow to glow prints with outstanding graphic effects and textures like never before.”

PixelGlow is a flagship product of Monotech Systems. Capable of embellishing bespoke and brilliant graphics with tangible dimensions, this machine is ideal for spot UV and foiling applications. “This print enhancement machine can turn any ordinary print into an extraordinary kind of masterpiece,” Digvijay says.

PixelGlow delivers spot UV and CMYK WV enhancement on a broad range of graphics produced on digital, offset and other presses. It takes up media up to B3 size (up to 355x508mm) which ranges from 170gsm to 700gsm with thickness up to 500micron (0.5mm). “PixelGlow adds high-impact varnish thickness up to 320 microns with special (varnish) ink on ordinarily printed graphics,” says Digvijay.

With a collective team of 150 staff, COPL Digital is into the printing and production of superbly embellished products such as marketing collaterals, fliers, fancy cards, and corporate brochures, among others. “We have a vision to escalate into the fullest scale because we have the business model, the right machines and unconditional after-sales support from Monotech Systems,” conclude Mohak and Digvijay.
