Delhi-based Prism Offset, a customer of Komori presses for years, is geared up to install its third Komori press at its Kutch unit in Gujarat. The new Komori press, a 5-color Lithrone GL 537, was booked by Prism Offset at drupa 2024, Komori announced.

Prism Offset was established in the year 1983 and incorporated as Prism Offset Pvt Ltd in 1996. “We have very firm principles, which we implement in our work culture and business ethics. We are committed to investing in best-in-class machines and equipment, engaging in close partnership with our clients and exploring all untapped possibilities of printing,” says Sudhir Chhabra, managing director of Prism Offset.

He adds, “When it comes to our commitment to investing in the best-in-class machines and equipment, Komori remains a brand we have been closely associated, trusted and fully relied upon its proficiency in delivering high-quality prints and overall productivity.” The first Komori press installed at Prism Offset was an Enthrone 429, a press embodied with leading-edge technologies.

Prism Offset installed its first Komori press—Enthrone 429, in the year 2015. “It was a perfect answer to the increasing demands for quality and consistent print outputs from our clients,” Chhabra says, adding, “We were fully got satisfied with the press’ flexibility, proficiency and productivity, which enhanced our work volume and print quality to another level. So we went for the second Komori Enthrone 429 in 2019.”

Both the Komori Enthrone 429 presses are 4-color. The newly booked Lithrone GL 537 is a 5-color press. “We have chosen this new press, especially for its speed and other advanced features. We are quite comfortable and satisfied with the after-sales support and service of the team Komori India.”

The Komori Lithrone GL 537, called the ‘OffsetOnDemand’ machine, accommodates short turnarounds and short-run production of different end-products. It operates stably at a maximum speed of 15,000sph (sheets per hour), compatibly taking on varieties of media with maximum size up to 640x940mm and thicknesses ranging from 0.04mm to 0.6mm.

Headquartered in Delhi with two production units in different locations—the first unit in Noida Sector 63 in Delhi-NCR and the second unit at Kutch in Gujarat—Prism Offset is a printing & packaging conversion company offering diverse range of products such as tags, stickers & labels, inserts, calendars, leaflets, gift boxes, corrugated boxes, etc. It boasts a huge client base comprising corporate biggies.

“We are eagerly waiting for the day to unfold a new chapter of quality and quantity printing with the installation of our brand new 5-color Lithrone GL 537 at Kutch unit, which is scheduled to take place in October this year,” Chhabra says.
