Kodak, a global manufacturer focused on commercial print and advanced materials and chemicals, has been named the winner of a Gold Stevie Award in the Best Business Technology Pivot category in The 22nd Annual American Business Awards. With the award, Kodak is recognized for successfully shifting its digital printing business to focus on inkjet presses. It has positioned also Kodak to capitalize on the future growth of high-speed inkjet production printing.

Kodak’s featured products in this technology pivot are the Kodak Prosper Ultra 520 Press powered by Kodak Ultrastream Technology and the Kodak 7000 Turbo Press, claimed to be the world’s fastest inkjet press. ”We are delighted that our strategy to focus our digital printing business on our proprietary continuous inkjet technology has been honored with a prestigious Gold Stevie Award,” commented Jim Continenza, executive chairman and CEO, Kodak. “We see this accolade as confirmation that we are on the right track. It also serves as an incentive to continue strengthening our inkjet portfolio so our customers can continue to benefit from the improving capabilities of inkjet.”
