In a bid to enhance its digital printing capability and meet the increasing demand for short-run jobs, Pay Enterprises Delhi has invested in Atexco Vegapress 660 monochrome Webpress from Insight Print Communications, a provider of printing solutions.
Insight Communications launched the Atexco Vegapress Webpress in April this year. The press is said to have a combination of superior quality, speed, cost efficiency, and environmental benefits. It boasts two distinct roll sizes of 440mm and 660mm, catering to the diverse needs of print service providers, and comes in two variants, both in monochrome and color.
The Atexco Vegapress is equipped with a comprehensive set of components, including an unwinder, printing engine, buffering unit, slitting and cutting mechanism, a stacker as well as a sophisticated RIP server and RIP software. The company says the printing system produced exceptional results on coated paper, operating at a speed of 60 meters per minute while accommodating paper weights ranging from 40 to 200 gsm.
Utilizing pigment-based inks help achieve durability. The ink density can be precisely adjusted, resulting in ink conservation and enhanced print quality. With its ability to produce 4 picoliter ink drop sizes, the technology ensures superior print quality, free from any undesirable scum marks, the company claimed.

Rajesh Kumar Sharma, the owner of Pay Enterprises, said, “We are a comprehensive printing solution provider, catering to all commercial printing requirements, including letterheads, visiting cards, ID cards, brochure printing, booklet printing, and more. Our arsenal already comprises digital sheetfed machines from Canon and Konica Minolta. We recently made the strategic decision to incorporate the Atexco Vegapress into our production setup.”
The decision to invest in the machine, he said, was driven by three key factors. “First, its exceptional speed impressed us, allowing us to significantly enhance our productivity. Second, the Vegapress consistently delivers an output of unparalleled quality, surpassing the capabilities of our existing sheetfed setup and lower running costs, making it an economically wise choice,” Sharma said.
Pay Enterprises is into book printing for nearly a decade. The addition of the Atexco Vegapress has enabled it to meet the escalating demand for short-run printing projects. By tripling its production capacity, Pay Enterprises is now well-equipped to cater to the expanding needs of its clients, solidifying its position in the industry.
“Insight Print Communications has earned a commendable reputation for its cutting-edge solutions and has established itself as a frontrunner in propelling the digital printing revolution in India. We firmly believe that the Atexco press is a groundbreaking addition, offering numerous economic and environmental advantages. In the print-on-demand (POD) segment, reliable service support plays a pivotal role, and we take immense pride in our highly skilled and knowledgeable service team,” said Ajay Aggarwal, managing director and CEO of Insight Print Communications.
