Delhi-based Thomson Press, books, magazines and newspapers printer, has installed two new Shoei Combi-32 KLL Series paper folding machines, and Sivakasi-based Orient Color Art Printers, manufacturer of books and stationeries, installed a new Shoei Combi-32 KLI Series paper folder with built-in automatic double bundler system for both 16 and 32 page sections. Thomson Press is running 13 Shoei Folders in its Faridabad and Noida Plant. Orient is running three Shoei Folders to meet the increasing demand for books and magazines.

Shoei Combi Series is a combination of buckle plate and knife folder, ideal for the production of 16 and 32 pages book signatures and comes in paper widths of 66, 74, 82, 97, 112 cm and speed of 180 metres per minute. With Shoei’s built-in automatic bundling system, machines could be operated by a single operator. The operator can concentrate fully on the infeed of paper pallets, removing the bundled signatures and checking the end product. Shoei’s patented feeder can handle curled stocks and thin paper smoothly, because the sheet separator holds the tail end of the sheets firmly to the stock not allowing the top sheets to float, eliminating double sheets during high speeds suction pull-out wheel operation. Shoei Folders offer maximum versatility and productivity. Suprabhat is the exclusive distributor for Shoei in India since 1978.
