Quark has officially announced the availability of QuarkXPress 2018 on 16 May 2018. The latest version of Quark’s graphic design and page layout software is claimed to set standards for innovation in typography, print, design and digital publishing. Quark aims at providing its legacy users of which there are many in Indian newspapers, and new users, as well as InDesign users with powerful new features on a yearly basis.
QuarkXPress page layout software has hundreds and thousands of legacy users around the globe. The company asserts that new software is still the most modern and efficient design software in the market surpassing its competitors with its 64-bit architecture and innovative features.
The updated software contains industry-first features that substantially increase productivity, support modern front requirements, and boost print and digital publishing. Significantly, users are not required to pay any monthly subscription; owning the license is the only requirement.
Non-destructive image editing and apps ability
Quark’s user interface is intuitive; it does not have palette clutter and generates faster results. Other features include non-destructive image editing, ability to output unlimited iOS and Android Single apps without any cost, low cost of ownership with optional upgrades, more granular design control for optical margin alignment, gradients and opacity, superior typographic controls and conversion of print layouts into interactive HTML5 Publications.
