The Zee Jaipur Literature Festival 2018 will be organized from 25-29 January 2018, at
Jaipur’s Diggi Palace. Claimed to be the ‘greatest literary show on Earth,’ the Jaipur Literature Festival is a treat for book lovers from all over the world. The festival serves as a
democratic, non-aligned platform offering free and fair access to all.
The festival brings phenomenal writers, thinkers, humanitarians, politicians, business leaders, sports people and entertainers on a common platform to share ideas and have an
expressive debate on a wide range of topics. Speakers in the past at this event comprised of Nobel laureates, Sahitya Akademi winners and literary dignitaries from India and abroad.
The festival also gives a chance to publishers, literary agents, authors, translation agencies and writers to meet, talk business deals, listen to speakers from across the world and perhaps sign contracts as well.
The 2018 edition of Jaipur Literary Fest expects to host speakers representing over 15 Indian and more than 20 international languages. The event has lined up eminent personalities, including Michael Ondaatje, Rupi Kaur and Anurag Kashyap and recently announced its first list of 60 speakers. Among the 60 speakers are world renowned writers like Tom Stoppard, Amy Tan and Pico Iyer. JLF is also organizing a contest for bloggers and photographers. The festival is expected to host more than 250 speakers.
The Zee Jaipur Literature Festival is a flagship event of Teamwork Arts, which presents the show along with over 25 highly acclaimed performing arts, visual arts and literary
festivals across more than 40 cities globally. The festival spread its wings abroad in the year 2014, with an annual summer event in London. It moved to Boulder, Colorado in 2015, where it hosts a similar event every September.
