Visitors to the forthcoming PrintPack India exhibition will have the opportunity to hear about the latest range of Trelleborg offset blankets for the newspaper, commercial print and packaging sectors from several local dealers. The company’s industry-leading Vulcan products can be seen on the stands of Viva Graphics (Hall 10, F65) as well as Krishna Graphics (Hall 3, B2C), while the Rollin range will be displayed by Nulith (Hall 10, F70) and Integra Graphics (Hall 10, F77–80). Maniraju Bora, sales and technical director – South West Asia, says, “The Indian market is an increasingly important one for Trelleborg, which has invested a great deal of time and effort during the last year to strengthen its position. In addition to ensuring that there is a solid network of dealers throughout the country, Trelleborg has improved its own infrastructure to deliver quality products and services. We’ve received excellent support from the Italian headquarters of Trelleborg’s printing solutions operation, where the R&D team works closely with us to produce blanket solutions that match the requirements of the Indian print industry. Technical experts from Italy have called on many Indian customers to obtain feedback on blanket performance and this level of ‘share and care’ has been greatly appreciated by printers.”

Visitors to PrintPack will see new blankets and products for the first time in India, including the Vulcan Irio, a precoating blanket designed for use during pre-coating and cold foil applications. The new Vulcan Sunrise and Rollin Suntech are 1.95 mm blankets designed for the latest UV applications, such as LE/HUV and LED UV. Providing all of the benefits of the Dynatech System, such as excellent smash and edge mark resistance plus better vibration absorption, the new blankets enable first-class solids and halftone reproduction, eliminating ink back-trapping and embossing.

Bora continues, “We have some excellent products for the newspaper market, such as the neutral-feed Vulcan 202 and the highly resistant Rollin Hi-Page Plus, which are both industry flagship products in some parts of the world. All of our dealers at PrintPack India will display Trelleborg’s official distributor sign on their stands, which will make them easy tospot while walking around the halls. Representatives from Trelleborg will be available throughout the event and we look forward to discussing with printers how we can help to improve the effectiveness of their printing blankets.”

Bora will be one of the several industry leaders speaking at the NPES Print Business Outlook Conference 2017, on 5 February at the India Expo Centre in Greater Noida. His talk is titled ‘New Age Printing Blankets for High Efficiency Printing.’
