At this year’s PrintPack show, Bobst India will be showing running multiple jobs on its its high-speed folder gluer Visionfold 110 A2 with auto collection. It will also introduce a special feature on the Visionfold, to be revealed at the show.
Bobst believes Visionfold not only lets customers handle all the carton styles that one would expect but also with its ease of setup and effortless repeatability deliver the same flawless quality every time the job runs. This helps converters achieve just in time (JIT) deliveries and gain customer trust.
The company will showcase the technology with a variety of jobs. While every customer visiting its stand is a potential customer Bobst’s objective at PrintPack will be to meet key and prospective customers’ and listen to their demands.
Commenting on the recent demonetization of high value currency notes, Bobst says that this is a temporary disruption and that demand and consumption, especially in the food and FMCG space could be hit in one quarter. Overall, according to the company, the economy is stable and India is on the growth path. Thus while the investment cycle could take a temporary hit, it will come back to its normal cycle.
