Apsom Infotex distributes a large gamut of products and solutions for segments such as signage, home décor, 3D printing, to name a few. At Screen Print India 2016 held from 6 to 8 May, it showed three products from the Roland portfolio. The XT 640 dye sublimation printer, RT 640 dye sublimation printer and VersaStudio BN 20 desktop inkjet printer and cutter. These three products are meant for a wide array of applications in home furnishing, apparel, office stationery and other products.
“The XT 640 has been developed specifically for dye-sublimation transfer printing. Users can create high-volume sportswear, fashion, soft signage, interior decoration, promotional merchandise and much more,” said Rajat Jaitly, marketing manager, Apsom Infotex. The printer has a speed of 63 square metres an hour. The XT-640 has a new media feed system that supports printing on a range of thick to thin papers. It can print on media with a width range of 10.2 to 64 inches. The printer was launched in India this year at Garment Technology Expo in New Delhi.
The RT 640 is a slower printer with a speed of 31 square metres an hour. RT 640 can also be used for applications in fashion, soft signage, interior decoration. The RT 640 can print on media with a width range of 10.2 to 64 inches.
The third product VersaStudio BN 20 has the feature of integrated printing and cutting in a 20-inch desktop inkjet. The BN-20 offers a choice of four different ink configurations – four-color, five-color metallic, five-color white ink and CMYK aqueous ink. The VersaStudio streamlines the production process by automatically contour cutting printed graphics, eliminating the need to reload and reposition graphics. Some applications of VersaStudio BN 20 are cut heat transfers for garments, custom labels, decals, cut vinyl signage, posters as well as other products.
