Max Speciality Films (MSFL) was the second company in India to enter the field of BOPP films in 1990. In the last 25 years, lamination films from MSFL state-of-the-art plant near Chandigarh have gained global recognition across a wide field of applications – book covers, photo albums, magazines, postcards, brochures and lamination of perfumes, spirits, jewellery and luxury bags.
At drupa 2016, MSFL will unveil its entire range of graphic lamination films BOPP, PETand Nylon. The portfolio named Super Effects comprises two distinct varieties – Elite andClassic. Elite represents the premium line of value added lamination films, each one with customized features. Performance and optics enhance the appearance of substrates to achieve the super effect one is looking for. Classic is the more traditional range for virtually all lamination applications.
Multiple super effects are possible, such as digital films in gloss and matte finish with significantly higher bond strength than conventional films for superior adhesion to digital printing, dark backgrounds or dense ink types; super silk film, which is a high matte film with extraordinary smoothness and silky feel and scuff resistance for luxury brands – the tactile feel enlivens both prints and colors; scuff free film – a special matte film with properties that resist abrasion and scratching; linen film, which has a BOPP based pre-embossed texture; holographic film, which is available in two versions – transparent and metallic and offers exceptional bonding with the substrate; glueable and stampable film, which is ideal for post lamination, hot foil stamping and gluing applications; and nylon film, which works as a preservative, keeping prints curl free and untarnished over time.
