Insight Communication, one of the largest dealers for Graphic Arts equipment sales, showcased Komori Enthrone S429 and Kodak platesetter. Speaking to Indian Printer & Publisher, BN Tiwari, vice president of Insight, said, “In a competitive market of offset presses, brands like Komori have carved a niche in the Indian markets. Backed by a very strong support and service set up, the number of Komori installations is constantly rising.”
Raja S Kochhar, general manager of Insight, said, “Komori is a reliable and cost-effective press that has given stiff competition to second-hand press buyers. A 25 to 40% increase in cost as compared to the cost of a second-hand press makes the Komori press a favourable option among the printers.”
During the four-day event, Komori Enthrone S429 and Mclant is CTCP were sold to Mulund-based Adinath Print Service in Northeast of Mumbai suburbs. Insight claimed to have clinched orders for few Komori presses and Kodak platesetters, in addition there were a few enquiries that the company is hoping would convert into orders. “Participation in Pamex has led to creating brand awareness for our products and getting fresh orders.
