Lucknow Printers Association (LPA) organized its Second Mega Event on 20 December 2014 at hotel Piccadily in Lucknow. Printers from different parts of India, especially North India, attended the event that saw AK Sinha, director printing, Government of India as the chief guest; and Dev Nair, All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP) president as the guest of honour. Speaking at the Second Mega Event, Harjinder Singh, general secretary, LPA, said, “The First Mega Event was to make ourselves feel that somewhere coming together and being visible as a unit is imperative. Second time we come together because what we felt is now a realization and that being united, should now become a habit, or can we say that the habit is now almost there within?”

AIFMP president Dev Nair said, “Within a short span of three years the LPA has achieved significant milestones such as the agreement with the Toyo Ink Group of Japan which is a boon to the Uttar Pradesh printers and shall be instrumental in promoting business abroad.” LPA signed an agreement with Toyo Inks wherein Toyo Inks will supply inks to all the association printer members at a subsidized rate, and a formal event was organized on 28 September 2014 in Lucknow to announce the agreement.

The Second Mega Event was sponsored by Prism Papyrus, Fedrigoni and Provin. Indian Printer and Publisher was one of the official media partners of the event. During the event, LPA also unveiled the December 2014 issue of the print newsletter, Print News.
