The global leveraging of manroland India engineering and project consultancy expertise is a logical and rational use of the resources that the company has built up while servicing its user base in the country. After the Indian market, manroland India has extended its engineering and consulting services to the international market with turn key projects for manroland customers in both Africa and Pacific region.
The scope of services includes dismantling, installation, refurbishment, repairs, upgrades and consultancy services for manroland web and sheetfed installations around the globe. With a team of 22 qualified and factory trained engineers, some with more than three decades of practical experience, manroland India has emerged as a complete solution provider over the years for print houses looking for reliable technical and maintenance support for their manroland printing systems.
A recent project took manroland India to Central Africa. The project at a leading commercial printer, Shekinah in the Congo, involved modernization and upgradation of their Cromoman and Cromoset single width newspaper web machines.
The 30-day schedule at Shekinah comprised complete mechanical and electrical overhauling of the machines followed by training and maintenance programs specially designed by manroland’s technical crew to educate the press operators, supervisors and production staff. The program focused on key topics such as press maintenance, prepress integration, ink-water balance and quality control.
Upcoming projects for manroland India’s engineers include installation and commissioning of a Lithoman commercial web press in Nigeria followed by the installation of two Roland 700 6-color plus configurations in Australia. “We are delighted that our services are being acknowledged not only by our Indian customers but overseas as well and we shall strive to deliver to the best of our potential.
