Epson, a global name leader in professional imaging and printing solutions, has partnered with acclaimed photographer and film producer Atul Kasbekar as the official print partner for ‘HONEST: Portraits of Character’, a landmark photography exhibition at Jio World Plaza, BKC, Mumbai. The exhibition brings together photography, storytelling and cinematic legacy in a powerful celebration of character and craft.

Running from 5 June to 5 July 2026, the exhibition features 56 large format black-and-white portraits of India’s most celebrated character actors, including Naseeruddin Shah, Anupam Kher, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Arshad Warsi, Kay Kay Menon, Ratna Pathak Shah and Rasika Dugal. Captured without retouching, the portraits reveal an uncommon authenticity, celebrating the faces that have shaped Indian cinema through their craft rather than celebrity.

To ensure every nuance of expression, texture and tone is preserved, the entire exhibition has been produced using Epson’s professional photo printing technology. Printed on Epson SureColor large format printers using archival-quality UltraChrome PRO12 pigment inks and Epson professional media, each portrait delivers exceptional depth, tonal accuracy and longevity, allowing viewers to experience the images exactly as envisioned by the artist.

“HONEST is about authenticity in its purest form. These actors bring an extraordinary honesty to the camera, and it was critical that every detail translated faithfully into print. The prints are from the exhibition. Epson photo printers’ ability to reproduce subtle tonal gradations, especially in black and white, made them the ideal partner for this project,” said Kasbekar.

Tushad Talati, director – brand and communication, Epson India, said, “We believe that photography does not end when a picture is made. The final print is where the photographer’s vision truly comes to life and is shared with the world. At Epson, we have spent decades advancing the art and science of photographic printing, helping photographers transform images into enduring works of expression. Through this collaboration, we are enabling audiences to experience Atul Kasbekar’s work with the depth, detail and authenticity he intended.”

‘HONEST: Portraits of Character’ is open to the public at Jio World Plaza, BKC, Mumbai from 5 June to 5 July. Presented across Levels 1 and 2, HONEST: Portraits of Character, reflects the destination’s commitment to championing distinctive cultural experiences and providing a platform for artistic expression. Entry is free.
