Canva has partnered with Perplexity to bring its design and AI tools into Perplexity Computer, enabling businesses to turn research into ready-to-use visual content within a single workflow.
According to a post on the Canva website, the integration allows users to convert AI-generated insights, such as briefs and competitive analyses, into editable designs including presentations, social media assets, and infographics. This aims to reduce the manual effort typically required to move from strategy to execution
Perplexity, which reports over 100 million monthly users, is widely used for research, while Canva serves more than 250 million users globally. The companies say the collaboration addresses a growing demand among small businesses, 74% of which rely on digital tools for content creation
Users can connect Canva via Perplexity Computer to generate structured briefs from meeting notes, data, and web insights, which are then transformed into polished, on-brand assets. The feature is available to Pro and Enterprise subscribers and supports 11 languages
The move is part of Canva’s broader strategy to integrate design capabilities across major AI platforms, helping users turn ideas into publishable content more quickly.
The connector is available now for Perplexity Pro, Max, Enterprise Pro, and Enterprise Max users.
It is available across 11 languages, including English, Portuguese, French, German, Hindi, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Chinese, and Spanish.
Supported outputs include social media assets, campaign materials, presentation decks, pitch documents, infographics, brand kits and reusable templates.
Emily Jorgensen, head of business development and partnerships at Perplexity, said, “Canva has put world-class design into the hands of every business. Bringing it into Perplexity Computer means a growing business can design right alongside the rest of its work, turning research, data, and a rough idea into a finished presentation, video, or campaign without ever leaving the flow.”
