Ankleshwar’s printing and publishing landscape got a push with the installation of a Konica Minolta AccurioPrint C4065 digital press at Shree Ram Enterprise, a premier provider of industrial safety signboards and label-cutting solutions.
Founded in 2009 by Kanu Bhai, an engineering graduate in computing, the Gujarat company was established with a vision to deliver high-quality, precision-driven products to the region’s burgeoning industrial sector.
The organization has placed a strong emphasis on leveraging advanced infrastructure to meet stringent industrial standards. The early integration of CO₂ laser machines, laser-cutting systems, and sophisticated half-cut and full-cut machinery allowed the company to carve out a niche for itself.
Today, the innovation continues under the leadership of the founder’s son, Jayraj Kanubhai Makwana. Serving as the chief executive officer, Makwana oversees the company’s overall operations, strategic planning, and business development, driving the enterprise toward its next phase of growth and technological expansion.
In 2022, the management recognized an escalating market demand for high-precision label cutting solutions. To address this evolving need and enhance overall production efficiency, Shree Ram Enterprise decided to invest in Konica Minolta technology, recently culminating in the acquisition of the AccurioPrint C4065 digital press.
This installation marked a significant transition for the company, shifting its focus from traditional large-format solutions to high-efficiency digital cut-sheet production.
Makwana says, “The transition to the AccurioPrint C4065 was defined by a seamless installation process managed entirely by Konica Minolta’s technical team. Recognizing that hardware is only as good as the hands operating it, comprehensive, hands-on training and education support were provided directly to the operators. The support system ensured that the workforce could maximize the machine’s advanced capabilities from day one, minimizing downtime and maintaining a smooth workflow.”
“The installation also highlights our trust in Konica Minolta’s technology, reliability, and consistent output over the years,” he said, adding, “By standardizing our production setup entirely around these digital systems, we have optimized our operational consistency and streamlined maintenance.”
Backed by a team of around 10 skilled operators who manage day-to-day business operations and machine programming, Shree Ram Enterprise serves as a trusted partner to well-known clientele in the industrial and pharmaceutical sectors, including Grasim Industries, Indofil Industries, Lupin, and UPL.
Looking ahead, the company remains highly optimistic about its financial and operational outlook. The management projects a full return on investment for the new digital setup within approximately two years.
“This anticipated ROI is supported by a spike in daily productivity and the ability to scale up output volumes significantly. By marrying advanced digital printing technology with decades of industrial expertise, we are positioned to fulfill the growing, high-volume demands of our clients without compromising on the precision and quality,” he concludes.
