Mumbai-based Bharani Print & Projects is a prominent commercial printer and producer of a range of premium-quality finished products comprising stationery items and many others. Upgrading its portfolio of machines and equipment for maintaining quality and consistency in graphic prints and end-products, the printer added a Canon imagePRESS V800 digital color production press.
“Bought as the first digital machine from Canon India, this iPR V800 in our production setup in Fort is ideally a perfectly engineered compact digital color production press we had been looking for. The addition of this Canon digital press to our machine portfolio has improved the quality and textures of graphic prints we digitally print and produce nowadays,” says Aman Bhavesh Pandya, designated partner at Bharani Print & Projects.
Pandya adds, “We have other printing units engaging in different print jobs, while Bharani Print & Projects is our exclusive unit designated for digital printing for short-run and print-on-demand items. Driven by the growth in demand for innovative graphic prints and personalized items, digital printing is breaking new ground. Grabbing this ever-growing opportunity in this sector in a larger scale, we have thoughtfully invested in the iPR V800.”
Explaining the reason for choosing the iPR V800, Pandya said the compact Canon digital color production press is packed with cutting-edge features and capabilities, which are comparatively more ‘advanced’ than other presses. “We have been using another digital color production press from a different brand for years. However, the overall dexterity of this new Canon digital press, which we installed in July this year, is really incredible,” he adds.
Designed for oversized production in a compact footprint, the iPR V800 is capable of operating at a speed of 80 A4 pages per minute (ppm) for delivering quality graphics in the industry’s leading resolution of 2400x2400dpi. The media flexibility of this Canon digital color production press is commendable. It takes in a broad range of media, starting from thin substrates of 52gsm up to the thick materials of 350gsm.
Backed by a strong team of 10 highly-skilled and experienced staff members, Bharani Print & Projects excels in digitally printed premium quality end-products, such as brochures, pamphlets, catalogues, fliers, inserts, cards, and many other stationery items. Pandya says they are looking ahead to upgrading the business with the addition of more new and upgraded digital machines, perhaps from Canon India, in the future.
