Panipat (Haryana)-based Dhingra Photostat is a popular print shop delivering quality graphics and finished print products to customers from across the spectrum. Dhingra Photostat recently upgraded its capacity with the installation of a PixelGlow Lumina—an advanced digital UV embellishment printer from Monotech Systems.
PixelGlow Lumina is an indigenously manufactured by Monotech Systems . Naresh Dhingra, director at Dhingra Photostat, says the addition of the all new PixelGlow Lumina to their machine portfolio has opened up a whole new chapter to embellish prints, beautifying even ordinary graphics into stunning added textures and vivid colors.
The current machine portfolio of Dhingra Photostat includes an array of digital production presses such as Konica Minolta bizhub C450i, Konica Minolta AcurioPress C7090, Konica Minolta AcurioPress 6120, and a line of post-press and finishing equipment including the new PixelGlow Lumina. Established in 1989 as a mere reprographic outlet engaging in usual jobs like photocopying, Dhingra Photostat over the years has grown from one level to another with constant investments in new machines and manpower.
A team of more than a dozen skilled staff members led by Yugansh Dhingra engages in graphic designing, printing, and production of quality and innovative graphics and finished products such as business cards, fliers, catalogs, brochures, and many other associated items. A second generation in the business, Yugansh is the son of Naresh. “Today, I’m proud to be part of my father’s business of more than three decades. We look forward to getting it expanded on all fronts with new machines and newer applications,” Yugansh says.
According to Yugansh, the installation of the new PixelGlow Lumina is a big turning point for Dhingra Photostat. ‘Made in India’ by Monotech Systems, the PixelGlow Lumina is a perfectly engineered UV embellishment system to enhance graphic prints in high textures and vivid colours. It is capable of operating at the speed of 60 sph (sheets per hour) to adorn prints in crystal clear 600 x 600 dpi with minute details. Versatile to handle varied substrates of diverse grammages, starting from 130 gsm up to 600 gsm, PixelGlow Lumina is compatible with media up to maximum size of 14″ x 20″ for larger and more dynamic graphic print outputs.
