Kolkata-headquartered media house ABP, publishers of The Telegraph, AnandaBazar Partika and a host of other print publications, won double accolades at the Wan-Ifra Indian Printers Summit held in Delhi on 15 and 16 September 2025, showcasing excellence in both sustainability and print quality.

The company was awarded the Wan-Ifra Carbon Footprint Verification Certificate, making its printing plant one of the first in India’s newspaper industry to receive this environmental certification.

Concurrently, ABP’s flagship titles, Anandabazar Patrika and The Telegraph, were honored with Silver Trophies in the ‘Best in Print – Asia’ category at the International Print Quality Competition.

The awards were collected by the ABP team during a ceremony at The Eros Hotel, Delhi.

The Best in Print Awards is Wan-Ifra’s annual competition that recognizes excellence in print reproduction and encourages healthy competition across the newspaper printing industry.
